FLUT Limited Warranty & Repair Policy

At FLUT, we believe jewelry should be made to be worn, enjoyed, and kept for years to come.

Each piece is carefully inspected before it leaves our studio. However, jewelry is naturally delicate, and some materials require special care.

To give you peace of mind, FLUT offers a limited warranty for eligible manufacturing defects.

1. Limited Warranty

FLUT provides a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects that affect the workmanship or materials of your FLUT jewelry under normal and intended use.

Examples of issues that may be covered include:

  • A defective jewelry component
  • A manufacturing defect in the metal setting
  • A faulty clasp or connection caused by manufacturing
  • A gemstone becoming loose due to a manufacturing or setting defect
  • Other defects determined by FLUT to have resulted from the original workmanship or materials

If a covered defect occurs within the warranty period, FLUT may, at our discretion, provide a repair, replacement, or other appropriate resolution.

2. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, accidents, or normal wear and tear.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Scratches, dents, or surface damage
  • Tarnishing or natural oxidation of sterling silver
  • Damage caused by water, chemicals, perfume, lotions, or cosmetics
  • Damage caused by swimming, showering, exercising, or sports
  • Accidental drops or impacts
  • Bent, stretched, or broken metal caused by excessive force
  • Damage caused by repeatedly adjusting adjustable rings or bracelets
  • Damage caused by improper handling or storage
  • Lost jewelry or gemstones
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Changes in the natural appearance of gemstones
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications

Natural gemstones may naturally vary in color, pattern, texture, inclusions, and matrix. These natural characteristics are not considered manufacturing defects.

3. Adjustable Jewelry

Some FLUT designs feature adjustable rings, bracelets, or other adjustable components.

Adjustable jewelry should be handled carefully and adjusted slowly and minimally.

Repeated bending, excessive opening or closing, or forcing the jewelry beyond its intended range may weaken the metal or cause damage to the gemstone setting.

Damage caused by excessive adjustment or bending is not covered by our warranty.

4. Natural Gemstones

Many FLUT pieces are made with natural gemstones, including turquoise, aquamarine, amethyst, citrine, opal, amber, and other natural materials.

Because natural stones are formed by nature, no two stones are exactly alike.

Differences in:

  • Color
  • Tone
  • Pattern
  • Matrix
  • Texture
  • Shape
  • Inclusions

are natural characteristics and are not considered defects.

We believe these imperfections are part of the character and beauty of natural gemstones.

5. Sterling Silver

FLUT uses 925 sterling silver in many of our designs.

Sterling silver naturally reacts with air, moisture, skin oils, and certain chemicals and may develop oxidation or tarnishing over time.

Tarnishing is a natural characteristic of sterling silver and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Regular cleaning with an appropriate jewelry polishing cloth can help maintain the appearance of sterling silver.

6. How to Request Warranty Service

If you believe your jewelry has a manufacturing defect covered by our warranty, please contact us at:

Please include:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Date of purchase
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the jewelry
  • Photos showing the affected area
  • Your shipping address

For certain issues, we may request additional photographs or information before determining whether the item qualifies for warranty service.

Please do not send your jewelry back to us before receiving instructions from FLUT.

7. Warranty Review

After receiving your warranty request, FLUT will review the information and determine whether the issue appears to be covered under this warranty.

If the item needs to be physically inspected, we will provide further instructions regarding the repair process and return shipment.

Warranty coverage is determined by FLUT based on the nature and cause of the damage.

8. Repair After the Warranty Period

Jewelry that is outside the 12-month warranty period may still be eligible for repair.

Repairs outside the warranty period are handled on a case-by-case basis and may incur repair and shipping fees.

Before proceeding with any paid repair, FLUT will inform you of the applicable cost and obtain your approval.

9. Warranty Shipping

For a confirmed manufacturing defect covered under this warranty, FLUT will determine the appropriate shipping arrangement on a case-by-case basis.

For repairs that are not covered by the warranty, including accidental damage, normal wear, or damage caused by improper use, the customer may be responsible for applicable shipping and repair costs.

10. Warranty Limitations

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from FLUT or through an authorized FLUT sales channel.

The warranty is not transferable and does not apply to products purchased from unauthorized sellers.

This warranty does not cover loss or theft of jewelry.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, FLUT's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the affected product, at FLUT's discretion.

11. Your Legal Rights

This limited warranty provides additional protection and does not replace or limit any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws applicable to your purchase.

If the laws of your country or region provide statutory rights relating to defective or faulty goods, those rights remain unaffected by this warranty.
